Snowfall seemed to have had no end last Wednesday (8 December). At least 25 cms of the white stuff fell on the streets of Montmartre.

Yeah. I don’t know how your city administration deals with this situation. Over here in Montmartre, they haven’t even gritted the steep streets. It’s a nightmare.

They called in the army here (yes, really!) to clear the snow and ice from main streets yesterday!

Cathy, I can assure you, you can count yourself lucky that you left the day you did. Pretty it is, but on the ground, it was a nightmare.
